Events scheduled around the countryDaylong conferences will take place in cities nationwide, concluding in Washington, D.C., on June 20 and 21 with the announcement of the 2013 National Small Business Person of the Year. Candidates from around the country will compete for the honor.
Entrepreneurs will find many opportunities to network and explore issues that confront small business managers in today's changing economic environment. Sessions will cover a variety of topics, including funding options, mentoring, government contracting, and the Affordable Care Act. The schedule is as follows:
- June 17: Seattle
- June 18: Dallas
- June 19: St. Louis
- June 20: Pittsburgh
- June 20-21: Washington, D.C.
Registration informationOnline registration is open through noon on June 12. In addition to the in-person event, the SBA will offer several online forums on a variety of topics, and all events will be live-streamed on the National Small Business website.
